Wordpress Logo.This issue doesn’t pertain to every WordPress blog out there, but certain WordPress blogs will end up cutting off the right side of the WP Greet Box display due to the blog theme making the right side invisible or absolute.

I got good news for you, there is a very simple remedy to solving this issue that I am going to share with you. It requires making a simple change to the wp-greet-box.css file.

The first thing you got to do is locate the file on your server and copy it to your desktop. Go to your hosted blog’s folder, click on wp-content, then plugins, then wp-greet-box, then css, finally you’ll find the wp-greet-box.css located in that folder.

Once you find that file, open it up in a text editor and find the first css rule which will look like this:

.greet_block { background:#fff; border:1px solid #eee; margin:10px 0; width:100%; }

All you got to do is change the width of the greet_block class. Your first css rule will look like this now:

.greet_block { background:#fff; border:1px solid #eee; margin:10px 0; width:99%; }

Changing the width to 99% works for my blogs, it might not work for yours. If this is the case, just keep going down one percent at a time until the right side of your WP Greet Box shows up. Now you will be able to enjoy a full rectangle pop up!

Just a quick heads up, every time there is a new update for the WP Greet Box plugin, you will have to make this change again because the update will overwrite your changes.
